Mo Atwa
Co-Founder
Mo is a leader in delivering IT transformations that drive measurable impact, with over 20 years of experience, including managing large-scale programs across financial services, government, and technology sectors. He has a proven track record of modernizing critical platforms, improving operational efficiency, and guiding high-performing teams through complex challenges.
His career highlights include leading work to stabilize NAB’s Core Banking platform, where he applied innovative strategies to improve performance and ensure long-term stability. At PEXA, he led efforts to open up the Australian e-conveyancing system, working with high-level stakeholders across PEXA, regulators, and industry competitors to drive interoperability and reshape the industry landscape.
Looking ahead, Mo is focused on how AI can accelerate application development, enabling faster, more customized changes while reducing costs. He is particularly interested in how AI can enhance traditional development approaches, creating adaptive, scalable solutions that meet evolving client needs. His work explores the possibilities of AI to transform application change and innovation, pushing the boundaries of what’s achievable in enterprise environments.

Matthew specializes in helping clients articulate their business goals and challenges. He focuses on the early shaping stages of projects, working closely with clients to define the size, scope, and structure needed to achieve successful outcomes.
Known for simplifying complexity and providing clarity to teams, stakeholders, and decision-makers, Matthew’s experience spans a range of industries. His work includes leading the rollout of a new core banking platform at National Australia Bank and supporting the launch of PEXA into the UK.
In recent times, Matthew has been focused on new developments in AI. He is particularly interested in how these technologies can be used to reengineer business processes, making them run more effectively and efficiently. He continues to explore ways to apply these innovations to deliver faster, more impactful results for Encoda’s clients.
